Rock'n' Roll High School Album Cover Autographed by the Ramones

Here for sale is a 1979 Ramones autographed album cover with what appears to be the original vinyl album titled Rock'n' Roll High School. This came to me from a friend who passed away recently.

We live in Nashville and he worked for over 20 years as a stage hand who sometimes traveled with his crew. I inherited a pile of interesting art that I know very little about. I could tell what was valuable to him by what he had framed and hanging vs. Rolled up in the closet. This piece had a place of honor.

The condition of the cover is pretty rough. Three of the corners are bent and all of the edges show heavy wear.

There is brownish water type damage around approximately 50% of the edges, both front and back. Both sides have a dozen or so creases in the paper, most around the edges. The back has about 20 brown spots and what looks like tread marks from 3 sneaker prints. Hey, what do you expect from something owned at one time by a teenage boy?

The front of the cover appears to be autographed by Dee Dee Ramone, Johnny Ramone, Joey Ramone and Marky Ramone. From what I know of my friend and looking at many examples online, I believe the autographs are authentic. The album condition is somewhere between poor and hideous. Side 1 is covered in light scratches with a few medium but the paper is in good shape. Side 2 is more densely scratched with several light gouges.

There is a drip of something on the vinyl that looks like paint or petrified mayonaise. The paper has a 1/2 inch stain and a couple small spots but is readable. This is my first item and the value to you depends on authenticity.
